Milo 输入法 is committed to protecting user privacy. The following are our privacy commitments:

Our commitments

No connections to third-party services: except for the WebDAV server you configure, the app does not access external networks
No collection of user data: your input, dictionaries and configuration are stored locally
No ads: Milo 输入法 is completely free and contains no advertising
Open source and auditable: the core is based on the open-source Rime project, and security researchers are welcome to review it

Privacy in voice input

Voice input uses Alibaba Cloud speech recognition (DashScope):

Voice data is sent directly to Alibaba Cloud servers for processing
Alibaba Cloud does not use your voice data to train models
The app does not save your voice recordings
You need to apply for your own Alibaba Cloud API key and pay the associated charges
